Fu-Fu is a bat who is Sagwa's best friend. He is a clumsy flier.

As Sagwa's friend, he constantly has to advise her and tries to keep her out of trouble.

History

Fu-Fu is Sagwa's best friend and sidekick. A cave-dwelling bat who wears round glasses, he is an extremely clumsy bat who often crashes into trees and other objects. He acts as Sagwa's conscience, warning her against taking unneeded risks, and then rescues Sagwa from the consequences of her adventures.

Personality and traits

Although clumsy and rather awkward, Fu-Fu is also kind-hearted, loyal, smart, and funny.

• Fu-Fu is voiced by Rick Jones, who also voiced Oscar from Tommy and Oscar.
• Fu-Fu first met Sagwa when she got herself stuck in a pot of ashes when she was younger and did not have her markings.
• The reason for one side of his glasses being bent and broken is that he crashed into a pagoda. This was revealed in "Sagwa's Lucky Bat."
• His full name is Di-Di Fu-Fu, not to be confused with Nickelodeon's Rugrats character: Didi Pickles.
• In Shei-Hu's Secret, Fu-Fu is mentioned rather than not appearing.
• The only time Fu-Fu is seen without his glasses is in Sagwa's Good Deed and Invention By Mistake.
• Every time Fu-Fu tries breathing out after breathing in, he coughs.
• In Chinese culture, bats represent good luck and fortune.
• His name as Little Batty Fu-Fu is a pun on the song: "Little Bunny Foo Foo" to the tune of "Alouette".
